the one my cousin Gaayathri entered?
the grand finals was yesterday so i went =D
my mum didnt come cause it finishes really late and she's not a night person
i went with my aunt. [Gautam's mom for all you ppl who know my family tree]
btw, the cousin that entered the pageant is not Gautam's sister.
so got ready, went there, then waited for Gaayathri's mom to come
she arrived later with Aunty Vicky and her son and Gaayathri's boyfriend.
had a small photo session amongst ourselves XD

so went in, took our seats and waited for the thing to start la
the wait was agonizing!!

so finally the thing started!!
all 16 finalists did this dance thing.
quite nice.
then they intoduced all the judges.
guess who was one of the judges?
Harith Iskandar! XD
some of the judges kan, i really dunno why they asked them to judge.
one of the judges was a surgeon
SURGEON!
come on people! of all people to ask, you ask a surgeon? -shakes head-
anyway then they had the heritage round.

after that there was an interval
we were entertained by a traiditional indian dance performance
it was really cool!! didnt snap any pics cuz she was moving too fast
then was the Elegance round
they are also split into groups
each group had their own designer designing evening gowns for them
each group was set a colour as a theme.
Gaayathri's group's theme was black.

red group
purple group
lavender group
black group

after that was break again
got performance by Sasi the Don
okay okay performance only la.
after that they were announcing the 10 subsidary titles
eg. Miss Heritage, Miss Elegance, Miss Fitness, Miss Petite and etc.
guess which title Gaayathri won?

after that they announced the Top 5
gosh we all were so nervous!!!
all of us were shaking like mad!
Gaayathri's boyfriend couldnt even keep his hand steady to take pics. XD
1st person was called...not her
2nd person was called...not her
3rd person was called...not her
4th person was called...not her
5th person was called...IT WAS HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we were all screaming and cheering like mad!!!!!
we were all also waving around the banner we brought
it said WE <3 GAAYATHRI !!!
we were all really so excited for her!!

after that they had Q & A session with the Top 5.
questions were okay okay la
some hard, some easy.

after all the Q & A last year's queen came on stage
had some presentation about her journey

then..the moment of truth!! -jeng jeng jeng-
the results!!!
the announcing of the Queen, 1st runner up, & 2nd runner up
we were all nervous like hell!!
shaking like mad again!!
all of us had our fingers crossed!!
2nd runner up was annouced.
it was Gaayathri!!
she won 2nd runner up!!
gosh we were all screaming for her again!
and waving the banner again!!
of course slightly sad she didnt get queen but still extreamly happy for her!!
she was really happy!!

dunno who the 1st runner up is XD
but i really like the queen
i was hoping she would win if my cousin didnt so all's good =D

hugged and congratulated Gaayathri
then she had to go off to some cocktail party so we went to eat supper
went to a mamak shop XD
we were like so dressed up and we were sitting at a mamak shop
ppl were like staring at us XD
best part was the parking fee at the mamak shop

RM 10 you know!!!
what the heck!! bloody expensive man!!
oh well, not like i paid =P
went back to the pageant place to pick up Gaayathri then came home
reached home around 1.30 in the morning
gaahhh...was soooo tired!!

the movie was nicer but its quite funny..songs are nice too.
